Packed lunch
Please consider the following when packing your child's healthy lunch box
There are 5 things that should go into the lunchbox every day –
- a crunchy colourful vegetable, a piece of fruit, go seasonal.
- Something from the carbohydrate or breads and cereals group – bread, a wrap, rice, pasta.
- Something from the dairy group such as milk, cheese or a yoghurt.
- And finally a growing or protein food.
