At McMillan we use the software called ‘Famly’ to track the children’s development and to communicate with parents.

 All parents can access this platform by either downloading the Free App or it can be accessed via a web browser. Please use the mobile app/online to receive updates, photos, videos observations and reminders.

Famly is the platform we will be using to track your child’s progress, make assessments, observations and it will provide you with your child’s learning journey. We will use this platform to capture your child’s ‘wow’ moments  and engagement in activities, there is no set amount to how many photos and videos you will receive. 

We will be using ‘Famly’ to provide daily updates about the children’s sleep, toileting, nappies, activities and how much they have eaten. 

There will also be a newsfeed which will provide parents with information regarding:

• Newsletters
• Home learning
• Topics
• Trips
• Menus
• Accidents
• Medicine forms
• Displays

Other benefits of the app include direct messaging to your child's Key worker, marking your child as absent/sick and keeping your details and contact information up to date.
